And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.” Joshua 6:2 NKJV
God told Joshua to see not look. When we “see” something we are perceiving, discerning, taking notice, regarding. It’s only when we see what God is showing us with a spiritual lens that we understand that the victory has already been done. Then, we can come from a place of victory of whatever we are battling.
When you “see” then your gaze is up toward the Promise Giver, Jesus, Yahweh and not at the circumstances around you.
When you “see” you can raise your hands up in praise and worship who God is, and not with your hands out for what he can do for you.
When you “see” you know that God is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.
When you “see” you walk with a Kingdom mindset because you know that the things of this world and within it are only for a time. You are affixed in heavenly places.
When you “see” you walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7).
When you “see” you understand that you have authority in Jesus Christ.
When you “see” you understand that God is faithful, never fails, and what He says is final.
When you “see” you know that all the weapons that are trying to form against you, cannot prosper! You condemn every tongue that is trying to rise against you in judgement. (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, help us to see what the spirit is showing us. Help us to have the eyes to see the way that you see. Help us to see what you have already done and receive the strategy and direction to speak and pull down what you have already stored for us in heaven. Help us to bring your kingdom down in our lives, families, health, businesses, marriages, ministries, finances, children, neighborhoods, schools, territories, and nations. Help us to see that we are victors, that you’ve given us authority. We thank you for being our Helper. In Jesus Name, Amen!
For those that are in Christ, give God all the praise because he has already given it into your hand. You just need to “see”.
